How Argentina taxes crypto
Argentina taxes individual capital gains, including crypto disposals, at a flat 15%. This is separate from the progressive income tax scale that applies to earned income, which runs from 5% to 35%. Crypto received as payment for work or services is income rather than a capital gain and follows the progressive rates instead.
The same rate applies however long you held.
